Norwegian Sea Rescue
The Norwegian Sea Rescue is a humanitarian, membership based organization. Their objectives are to save lives, protect assets, safeguard the coastal environment and pursue information activities for the prevention of accidents and loss of life at sea.
THE “JEBSEN” RESCUE VESSELS
Contributions by the KGJ Group
To ensure that their rescue vessels are ready and able to continue saving lives and assets, they are dependent on membership fees, private gifts and other contributions.
A brief summary of the KGJ Group’s donations.
The rescue vessel RS 137 “Kristian Gerhard Jebsen” was funded by Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Skipsrederi AS in 2006.
The rescue vessel RS 163 “Kristian Gerhard Jebsen II” was majority funded by Stiftelsen Kristian Gerhard Jebsen in 2017.
