Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Skipsrederi AS (KGJS) is part of the Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Group, and is controlled by Hans Peter Jebsen and his family. The Jebsen family has a long history in ship-owning, technical management and maritime operations, both in the dry and liquid cargo shipping business.
The foundation Stiftelsen Kristian Gerhard Jebsen owns eight per cent of the shares in KGJS.
KGJS provides the technical management to about 50 vessels.
SKS Tankers Holding AS (www.sksshipping.com ) is a leading tanker owner that controls 12 Ore-Bulk-Oil (OBO) Carriers between 110,000 and 121,000 dwt, 8 Coated Suezmax tankers of about 159,000 dwt and 10 large product carriers of 120,000 dwt. The OBOs mainly trade clean petroleum products (CPP), crude oil and dry cargo on a continuous basis. The tankers trade CPP and crude oil.
